Stopping Place

The cave has been cleared, and the gang is heading back to town to rest. Andur is carrying the body of Thel Dendrar to give him a proper burial. Everyone advances one level.

Loot

From the nothic’s chest:

• 160 silver (40 each)
• 120 gold (30 each)
• 5 malachite gems, worth 15 gold each (held by Rurik till they can be exchanged)
• 2 potions of healing (received by ?)
• 1 scroll of augury (received by ?)
• Talon, an ornate longsword (received by Andur)

Timeline

The gang defeats the two remaining Redbrands.

A journal from a previous adventurer was found in the wizard’s workshop, detailing the history of the area. The journal was written in Dwarvish. A letter was discovered in the wizard’s bedroom, warning him of incoming intruders. It appears to be from his superior in a larger organization. It was signed only with a symbol of a black spider. The wizard’s full name is revealed to be Lord Iarno Albrick.

The gang discovered a goblin prisoner named Droop. He is given some rations and is set free by Rurik.

In the prison, a Redbrand guard is killed, and the kidnapped townsperson is freed. Andur walks her to the door.

The cave dweller was discovered to be a nothic. The gang succssfully dispensed of him and discovered a chest of loot. The body of Thel Dendrar (Andur’s brother-in-law) was also discovered.
